Alicia Keys has pushed back the release date of her third studio album from June 07 to October 07 reports NY Daily News. Spokesperson for Ms Keys has said the official reason given was that there were “Scheduling conflicts” with her ever-growing acting career. Rumour has it; another reason for the delay could be that the singer is unhappy with the promotions situation at her label, "J records". Ken Wilson, the promotions director Ms. Keys 'trusted and relied on' was fired from the Clive Davis owned label.It is evident that there are some problems over at “J Records”. Solid albums by previously successful artists such as Fantasia and Monica severely under performed due to bad promotion.
